Stocks end sharply lower; Dow off over 200 points

Stocks ended sharply lower on Thursday, with the Dow industrials posting their first back-to-back triple-digit drop since June, as Treasury yields spiked to 2011 highs and Wal-Mart and Cisco cut their forecasts. The Dow dropped 225.47 points, or 1.5%, to 15,112.19.


The RBR Radio Index was down 16.161, or 2.3%, to 685.525.

The TVBR Television Index was up 1.993, or .3%, to 659.221.
