Stocks end up; Nasdaq gain best since Oct 10
Stocks rebounded on Thursday as investors welcomed data showing a robust pace of growth in the economy in the final quarter of last year, while upbeat earnings from Facebook boosted the tech sector. The Dow closed 109.82 points, or 0.7%, higher at 15,848.61. The Nasdaq added 71.69 points, or 1.8%, to 4,123.13 at the close, its largest one-day gain since Oct 10.
The RBR Radio Index was up 17.646, or 2.0 %, to 908.151.
The TVBR Television Index was up 14.610, or 1.9%, to 803.611.
