A volatile session of trading Friday ended on the up side following some good earnings reports in the tech sector. That gave a boost to the Nasdaq Composite and other indices tagged along to a lesser extent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 13 points, or 0.1%, to 10,608. Broadcasting stocks were, however, mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 3.716, or 1.5%, to 251.177
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.078, or 0.6%, to 181.376.
