A selloff in reaction to Friday’s earthquake in Japan eased as the session went on, with energy stocks leading the march to gains for the day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 59 points, or 0.5%, to 12,044. Broadcasting stocks also had an up day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.012, or 0.5%, to 393.080.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.560, or 0.6%, to 258.882.
