Strong earnings reports from some retailers but Wall Street traders in a buying mood. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 44 points, or 0.4%, to 10,680. Broadcasting stocks joined in the advance.
The RBR Radio Index was up 18.391, or 6.6%, to 298.001.
The TVBR Television Index was up 6.371, or 3.3%, to 202.388.
