Stocks extended gains into a third session Thursday, led by tech stocks, as investors bought on relief earnings were largely beating expectations and helped by the latest round of results from blue-chip IBM and eBay. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 34.66 points, or 0.3%, to 12,943.66. Broadcast stocks were down, however.
The RBR Radio Index was down 12.983, or 3.1%, to 410.594.
The TVBR Television Index was down 2.884, or 1.2%, to 233.475.
