U.S. stock markets closed higher in an abbreviated session Tuesday before Independence Day holiday, following a rise in factory orders. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 72.43 points, or 0.6%, at 12,943.82. Radio and Television stocks were up, too.
The RBR Radio Index was up .862, or .2%, to 450.855.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.891, or 2.1%, to 238.763.
