Stocks on Friday finished down on the week but up for the day after House Speaker John Boehner termed opening budget discussions at the White House constructive. Rising for the first session this week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 45.93 points, or 0.4%, to 12,588.31, leaving it down 1.8% for the week, its fourth weekly drop. Note Dial Global (DIAL) has been removed from the index due to its imminent voluntary delisting.
The RBR Radio Index was up 3.436, or .9%, to 388.207.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.498, or 1.5%, to 309.659.
