Stocks finished barely higher on Friday – 12/3/10
A rise in the unemployment rate put a damper on trading, but stocks still managed small gains by the closing bell on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 20 points, or 0.2%, to 11,382. Broadcasting stocks also managed gains. The RBR Radio Index was up 1.435, or 0.51%, at 280.907. The TVBR Television Index was up 0.051, or 0.02%, at 206.264.
