It was a choppy session, but in the end bargain hunters ruled the day, picking up stocks beaten down in recent days. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 45 point, or 0.4%, at 11,106. Broadcasting stocks also gained.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.893, or 1.1%, at 267.046.
The TVBR Television Index was up 7.256, or 3.9%, at 194.974.
