Stocks hit by Washington worries, up for quarter

Stocks declined on Monday, with benchmark indexes still rising for a third consecutive quarter, as Wall Street considered a standoff on Capitol Hill and the likely duration of a possible government shutdown. The Dow dropped 128.57 points to 15,129.67.


The RBR Radio Index was up 4.412, or .6%, to 728.658.

The TVBR Television Index was down 2.083, or .3%, to 779.127.
