Stocks jump as end seen to fiscal drama


Stocks surged on Wednesday, lifting the S&P 500 near its record, as the Senate reached an agreement to reopen the government and raise the debt ceiling, with votes later in the day expected to end the fiscal standoff. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 201.33 points to 15,369.34.

The RBR Radio Index was down 10.994, or 1.5%, to 732.405.

The TVBR Television Index was up .812, or .1%, to 811.402.
