Traders cheered a drop in unemployment claims and an upbeat earnings report and forecast from tech giant Cisco Systems. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed back above the 10K mark, rising 203 points, or 2.1%, to 10,006. Radio and TV stocks rode the wave.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.616, or 4.8%, to 167.892.
The TVBR Television Index was up 11.567, or 11.1%, to 115.946.
