A report of an unexpected drop in new home sales, coming a day after a report of a rise in existing home sales, put a damper on Wall Street action Wednesday, but the strong tech sector pushed the market to small gains by the final bell. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up two points to 10,466. Broadcasting stocks did even better. By the way, the markets will have a short session Thursday, closing Christmas Eve at 1:00 pm ET.
The RBR Radio Index was up 4.613, or 2.3%, to 204.132.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.339, or 1.1%, to 126.204.
