Declining oil and commodity prices put pressure on the Blue Chips. However, an analyst’s upgrade for the biotech sector gave the Nasdaq Composite a small boost for the day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 41 points, or 0.4%, to 9,779. Broadcasting stocks were also mixed. The RBR Radio Index rose 3.256, or 2.7%, to 123.649. The TVBR Television Index was down 1.027, or 0.8%, to 120.583.
