Radio stocks were an exception Friday as TV stocks and most other sectors fell on a mixed bag of reports. The consumer sentiment index from the University of Michigan was up, but the government’s monthly report on durable goods orders was down. The Dow Industrials finished the day down 42 points, or 0.4%, at 9,665.
The RBR Radio Index gained 0.723, or 0.6%, to 115.667.
The TVBR Television Index was down 0.173, or 0.2%, to 109.231.
