Wall Street shrugged off some disappointing jobs data and focused on good earnings reports. After the close, though, the Fed announced a hike in its discount rate, which will likely weigh on stock prices on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 84 points, or 0.8%, on Thursday to 10,393. Broadcasting stocks were mixed, with radio down and TV up.
The RBR Radio Index was down 2.900, or 1.4%, to 210.727.
The TVBR Television Index was up 0.555, or 0.4%, to 150.195.
