IDC forecast 20% growth in the personal computer market this year and Boeing said it was boosting production due to increasing airliner orders. With tech stocks and industrials leading the way, stock prices rose Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 214 points, or 2.1%, to 10,405. Broadcasting stocks were up as well.
The RBR Radio Index was up 0.124, or 0.03%, to 379.873.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.418, or 2.2%, to 205.453.
