Good Q2 earnings reports from some major companies, such as Alcoa and CSX, sent stock prices higher on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 147 points, or 1.4%, to 10,363. Broadcasting stocks joined the advance.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.722, or 2.7%, to 290.785.
The TVBR Television Index was up 12.280, or 7%, to 188.021.
