Stocks retreat as cliff tensions rise

Stocks on Wednesday fell sharply after a two-session rally as negotiations to avoid deep spending cuts and tax hikes seemed to hit an especially rocky spot.
Retreating from a two-month high, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 98.99 points, or 0.7%, to 13,251.97.


The RBR Radio Index was up .305, or .1%, to 426.702.

The TVBR Television Index was up 4.032, or 1.2%, to 345.941.
