Word that the US would commit funds to shore up debt-laden European countries gave a boost to stock prices on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 250 points, or 2.3%, to 11,256. Broadcasting stocks, however, were mixed. The RBR Radio Index was down 2.522, or 0.9%. The TVBR Television Index was up 2.778, or 1.4%, to 204.886.
