Stocks on Wall Street rose modestly Thursday as data from the U.S. and abroad cast a more favorable light on the global economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index posted their first gain in three days. The Dow rose 26.34 points, or 0.2%, to end at 13,103.68, with 11 of its 30 components finishing in negative territory.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.357, or .3%, to 428.400.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.009, or .3%, to 319.422.
