Stocks climbed on Friday, adding to Wall Street’s largest single-day percentage gain since Jan. 2, after the AP reported House Republicans were proposing a deal that would avert default and end the 11-day-old government shutdown. A day after its largest point jump since 12/11, the Dow advanced 111.04 points, or 0.7%, to 15,237.11, a two-week high.
The RBR Radio Index was up 22.664, or 3.2%, to 733.964.
The TVBR Television Index was up 28.251, or 3.7%, to 799.603.
