A couple of big merger and acquisition deals – neither in media (and bigger than the AOL buy of Huffington Post) – got Wall Street excited on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 69 points, or 0.6%, to 12,162. Broadcasting stocks also gained.
The RBR Radio Index was up 3.903, or 1.1%, to 361.968.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.104, or 0.9%, to 226.719.
