Stocks surged for a second day as another positive reading on the housing market and comments from Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke helped two major indexes have their best day since Jan. 2, the first trading day of the year. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 175.24 points, or 1.3%, to 14,075.37.
The RBR Radio Index was up 9.254, or 2.0%, to 474.704.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.191, or .8%, to 427.660.
