The major global stock indices may have seen upward momentum in Tuesday’s trading, but media companies went in the opposite direction.
The Dow Jones Industrials Average gained 54.37, to 18,923.06. Nasdaq was ahead 57.23 to 5,275.62.
Cumulus Media retreated 6.5% after a healthy gain Monday, to $1.15 a share. Beasley was off 5.9%, to $4.75, while Emmis was down 5.3%, to $3.37.
The RBR Radio Index fell 18.578, or 3.16%, to 569.327.
The TVBR Television Index rose 1.568, or 0.17%, to 940.877.
