Rokkan NYC has been named digital agency of record for Stolichnaya Vodka, replacing LBi, the London shop with new US offices. Stoli is owned by SPI Group and distributed by William Grant & Sons in the U.S. The agency will provide full digital services, strategizing and executing digital communications for the brand in the U.S. and its global markets.
Rokkan is 40-person digital boutique. Stoli also last month split with Ogilvy, and is in a creative review.
“In the pitch process, Rokkan clearly demonstrated that it understands the core of our brand’s image and attitude,” said Marco Ferrari, Chief Marketing Officer of SPI. “While they presented a fresh new way to portray Stoli in our marketing communications, they retained the edge, wit and sophistication that has come to characterize the brand through the years.”
Rokkans’ first work for Stoli is expected before the end of spring.
