According to TiVo’s Digitalsmiths search and recommendation division, a growing number of pay-TV subscribers are overwhelmed by the number of channels offered to them in the 500-channel universe. In its latest consumer survey of video trends, Digitalsmiths said 30.9% fell into this category, the highest number since the company started its quarterly survey in late 2012.
