NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution says it has sold the upcoming half-hour version of hit primetime game show "Deal or No Deal" in more than 95% of the U. for its fall 2008 national syndication debut. "We’re excited to launch the first-run syndicated version of ‘Deal or No Deal’ this fall, coming off the continued ratings dominance of the primetime series," said Barry Wallach, President, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.


The syndi version of "Deal or No Deal" will be hosted by Howie Mandel and produced by Endemol USA, the same team behind NBC’s primetime version.  The show has been sold to NBC Local Media stations, including WNBC-TV in NY, KNBC-TV in LA and WMAQ-TV in Chicago, as well as to stations from a number of other groups including CBS, Sinclair, Gannett, Fox, Post-Newsweek, LIN, Hearst-Argyle, Dispatch, Media General, Local TV, Allbritton, Scripps Howard, Raycom, plus others.

"Deal or No Deal" is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. The series is executive-produced by Scott St. John. The series is distributed in the US by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
