SummitMedia, LLC announced the appointment of TJ Malievsky as President/Hawaii. Malievsky spent the past 30 plus years in management of broadcast media in the U.S. and abroad. Most recently, he served as a media consultant to Fox Sports Radio and MEM International.
As a former Vice President of Salem Communications, Malievsky successfully managed 13 radio properties including Honolulu. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer of All American Television Inc., a Los Angeles based group with 30 television stations serving markets as diverse as Birmingham, Chicago, and Albuquerque. He began his radio career at KPOI 98 Rock Honolulu in 1982 and was General Manager from 1983 – 1987. He has extensive international work experience with various media in Europe and the Middle East.
When asked about his appointment to the position, Malievsky said “I thank SummitMedia for their confidence in my leadership skills and relationships nurtured during my tenure in Hawaii. My goal is to cohesively use all of the wonderful resources and talents within SummitMedia Hawai’i to serve our listeners and strengthen relationships with our clients.
