According to analysis from wireless firm T-Mobile, the FCC should be able to clear out 84 MHz of space in the television band without any support from the big four networks, nor will it need any help from the next four either. But the report leaves an LPTV advocacy feeling a little flat.
In fact, T-Mobile suggests that it may take only between 200-400 stations willing to auction of spectrum to achieve the 84 MHz national threshold.
