Talent five nights a week on Estrella

Liberman Broadcasting’s (LBI Media) new Estrella TV network has jumped into the reality TV talent competition in a big way. Beginning this week, “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento” is airing Monday-through-Friday until the winner is selected. The winner gets a grand prize of $100,000 and assistance in launching a career in the performing arts – as a recording artist, magician, dancer, comedian or whatever.

The competition will take place over a 10-week period and feature an array of talented amateurs and unknown performers, with popular guest stars making appearances. Auditions were held at Estrella TV stations in Los Angeles, Houston and Dallas. The program will be taped on location in Los Angeles at several of the historic old theatres. 500 qualifying acts will be narrowed down by a combination of celebrity judges, a celebrity audience and ultimately, for the two-day live finale, the entire viewing audience. Pepe Garza, the Grammy-winning program director for Liberman’s regional Mexican radio stations, along with superstars Lorena Herrera and Hector Suarez, will be the judges on the show.

“Liberman has brought countless original Hispanic hit shows into living rooms throughout the US and ’Tengo Talento, Much Talento’ is just another example of the fresh and fun programs we develop exclusively for Estrella TV. We’re looking to engage and involve our audience in new ways; as contestants performing, as viewers voting, and as winners moving on to pursue their dreams,” said Lenard Liberman, Executive Vice President of LBI Media.
