“Talent” #1 for the night

NBCTuesday Results: From 8-10 p.m. ET, “America’s Got Talent” (2.7/8 in 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 results of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers.  In the time period, “Talent” ranked #1 in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54 and other key categories.  Week to week, “Talent” is up 4 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.7 from a 2.6) and up 3 percent in total viewers (10.431 million vs. 10.173 million).


From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Talent” grew by 27 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.8 from a 2.2) and 30 percent or more than 2.6 million persons in total viewers (11.4 million vs. 8.7 million).

·       From 10-11 p.m. ET, “Love in the Wild” (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49, as well as adults, men and women 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key categories.  “Love in the Wild” delivered its biggest overall audience since June 26, with a week-to-week gain of 5 percent (4.439 million vs. 4.233 million), and biggest 18-49 rating since that same date, with a week-to-week increase of 7 percent (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.5).

For the night, NBC is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in total viewers and other key categories.

From 8-10 p.m. ET, “America’s Got Talent” (2.6/8 in 18-49, 10.3 million viewers overall) tied for the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright for the night in total viewers.  In the time period, “Talent” is tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and #1 outright in total viewers, adults 25-54 and other key categories.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Talent” grew by 33 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.8 from a 2.1) and 30 percent or 2.6 million persons in total viewers (11.2 million vs. 8.6 million).

From 10-11 p.m. ET, “Love in the Wild” (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) ranks #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49, as well as adults, men and women 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key categories.  Pending updates, “Love in the Wild” is currently matching its 18-49 rating of the prior week, its highest since June 26.  In total viewers, “Love in the Wild” is currently reporting its biggest audience since June 26, with a week-to-week gain of 6 percent (4.500 million vs. 4.233 million), pending updates..

For the night, NBC is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in total viewers and other key categories.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.6/6; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.1/5; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.0/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.3/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4; “Late Show,” 0.5/2; “Nightline,” 1.0/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.0/4).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped “Late Late Show” (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
