Robert Linger, Vice President and General Manager of Fox O&O WTVT-TV (Ch. 13) Tampa-St. Petersburg was one of six men arrested at an adult video store Friday night. Linger is out on bail and the station says it is “currently reviewing” the matter.
Linger faces only two misdemeanor charges, but his mug shot and the charges are now public record on the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office website. The 49-year-old broadcaster is facing one count of lewd and lascivious behavior and one count of exposure of sexual organ. He has been released on $750 bond.
According to local news reports, Linger and five other men were arrested inside the movie theater of the Fantasy Land Adult Video store in Tampa. The arrest reports said they formed a circle around undercover officers inside the theater and began masturbating.
“Fox 13 is aware of the matter and is currently reviewing it,” the station said on its website.
