TEAC unveils first HD Radio receiver

TEAC America announced the introduction of its first HD Radio product: the TEAC HD-1. This tabletop iPod docking system, equipped with HD Radio technology, delivers a superior audio experience and compelling new content via HD Radio programming. The TEAC HD-1 also features iTunes Tagging capability and is available at select Costco stores nationwide.


The TEAC HD-1, with an MSRP of $129.99, plays and charges iPhones and all iPods, including the iPod touch. It is equipped with a remote control, dual alarm clock with a snooze button and five equalizer presets for improved audio fidelity. The HD-1 also comes with a headphone jack and video and audio outputs. The device’s rear-firing ports deliver a rich bass response, allowing for superior sound.
