TEGNA Links OTA With Digital Through TMS

In today’s marketing and advertising world, tools designed to drive results across all video delivery platforms are more essential than ever to drive brand campaign ROI and, ultimately, sales.

TEGNA, the broadcast TV station owner formerly known as Gannett, has just responded to this need.

Introducing TEGNA Marketing Solutions (TMS), described as “a one-stop shop” that combines local television reach with digital products such as OTT ad service Premion, creative development and data-driven audience strategies.

TEGNA says TMS’s goal is simple: to help businesses thrive across multiple platforms.

TMS brings together TEGNA’s in-house creative agency, and its digital marketing services, with Premion.

“TEGNA continues to invest in an innovative sales and custom marketing approach that meets the evolving needs of businesses,” said TEGNA Chief Revenue Officer Tim Fagan. “Through TEGA Marketing Solutions, our goal is to make it simple for our clients to reach the right people on the right platforms locally, regionally or nationally.”

TMS capabilities include television, paid search, Facebook advertising, targeted e-mail, digital display, pre-roll and extended reach, native advertising, creative solutions, analytics, media planning and marketing strategy and ideas, and OTT through Premion.

TEGNA says Premion is now piloting partnerships with local media broadcast groups and other businesses to enable sales in additional local markets, with revenue generated in all 50 states.

Earlier this year, Premion also launched a proprietary OTT data management platform that offers agencies and advertisers more precise data targeting capabilities.
