TeleFutura is #2 Spanish-Language Station in Key Markets Across the Nation, Beating Telemundo in Weekend Prime Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Persons 12-34.


Sunday’s Highly Anticipated Special “Jennifer López: Sin Censura” (Jennifer López: Uncensored) Positions Network in #2 Spanish-Language Spot in the Time Period.

TeleFutura, one of the largest Spanish-language networks in the U.S. and the ideal entertainment alternative for Hispanics across the nation, announced today it is America’s #2 Spanish-language network in weekend broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49, beating Telemundo. Attracting 565,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 342,000 Adults 18-49 on Saturday night, TeleFutura averaged +125,000 or +28% more Total Viewers 2+ and +61,000 or +22% more Adults 18-49 than Telemundo. On Sunday night TeleFutura delivered 921,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 516,000 Adults 18-49, averaging +228,000 or +33% more Total Viewers 2+ and +62,000 or +14% more Adults 18-49 than Telemundo.
 
Additionally, Sunday night’s highly anticipated one-hour special “Jennifer López Sin Censura” (Jennifer López: Uncensored) hosted by “Escandalo  TV’s” Charytín Goyco (Sunday 4/25, 7pm ET/PT; 6pm Central) beat Telemundo’s Sunday special “Conteo al Billboard” by triple-digit margins among ALL key demographics, including Total Viewers 2+ (TF 887,000 vs. TEL 321,000; +176% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 448,000 vs. TEL 142,000; +215% Adv.), Adults 18-34 (TF 192,000 vs. TEL 62,000; +210% Adv.) and Persons 12-34 (TF 240,000 vs. TEL 80,000; +200% Adv.)

*        On Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 7pm-11pm, TeleFutura was once again the #2 Spanish-language network due to its line-up which, in addition to the special “Jennifer López: Sin Censura,” included “Cine de las Estrellas: Ghost Rider” and “Rompiendo Los Límites” (Whacked Out Videos), out-delivering Telemundo’s entire primetime line-up by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 921,000 vs. TEL 693,000; +33% Adv.) and Adults 18-49 (TF 516,000 vs. TEL 454,000; +14% Adv.).
