TeleFutura's 2011 CONCACAF Copa Oro scoring ratings

Exclusive coverage of the USA vs. Guadaloupe soccer match – part of the 2011 CONCACAF Copa Oro (Gold Cup) tournament – led TeleFutura to wins over rival Telemundo in the 9-11 p.m. ET time period on Tuesday, June 14. 


Up against Telemundo, TeleFutura attracted more Persons 2+ (+14), Adults 18-49 (+47) and Adults 18-34 (+32%).  Additionally, TeleFutura was the #2 network in the time period among Men 18-49 and Men 18-34, ahead of ABC, CBS and FOX.  With this performance, the Gold Cup is outpacing the 2009 tournament through 18 matches across all key demographics by approximately 30%.  See below for details and additional ratings highlights.

Established in 1991, Copa Oro has become the region’s most popular soccer event, routinely drawing capacity crowds and millions of viewers across the nation. Throughout the years the Copa Oro finals have grown into a 12-nation championship with countries qualifying from the three regions of CONCACAF – North America, Central America (UNCAF) and the Caribbean (Caribbean Football Union).
