The Network’s Latest Original Novela “Una Maid en Manhattan” Averages Nearly 1.7 Million Total Viewers Premiere-To-Date, a 27% Increase versus November 2011 Time Period in Total Viewers.


With Mexican Soccer Semifinal Match Featuring Tigres vs. Querétaro, Telemundo Ranked #1 On Sunday Night, Beating All Spanish Language Networks, Including Univision, Among Men 18-49 and Men 18-34.

“Caso Cerrado” With Ana Maria Polo Ranked #1 At 4pm Beating All Spanish Language Broadcast Networks, Including Univision, During The Month Of November 2011 Among Adults 18-49.

Telemundo delivered its highest-rated week of the 2011-2012 season to-date, averaging nearly 1.4 million total viewers (persons 2+) and 740,000 adults 18-49 in primetime during the week of November 28.

The network’s 8pm nightly original novela “Una Maid en Manhattan” continued to grow on its premiere week to its peak performance on Monday, December 5, delivering 2 million total viewers (person 2+) and nearly 1.1 million adults 18-49.

Premiere-to-date, the Spanish-language novela starring Litzy and Eugenio Siller, based on the box-office hit movie (Maid in Manhattan), is averaging 1,654,000 total viewers (person 2+) and 880,000 adults 18-49, lifting the November 2011 time period by +27% and +35%, respectively.

In addition, Monday night marked the fourth time since its premiere that “Una Maid en Manhattan” beat CW at 8pm among total viewers (persons 2+) and the third time among adults 18-49.

Fútbol Estelar
The live broadcast of the Mexican soccer semifinal match “Fútbol Estelar” featuring Tigres vs. Querétaro on Sunday, December 4, averaged 1,455,000 persons 2+ and 955,000 adults 18-49. The game made Telemundo the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in Sunday primetime (7-11pm) among men 18-49 and men 18-34.

Locally, the match was #1 across all Spanish-language broadcast stations in Los Angeles and Houston among adults 18-49. In Las Vegas, it was #1 across all Spanish-language broadcast stations among households.

Caso Cerrado
“Caso Cerrado” with Ana Maria Polo was the leading Spanish-language broadcast program at 4pm during the month of November 2011 among adults 18-49, beating Univision’s “Gordo y La Flaca” by +3% (599,000 vs. 582,000). The program also registered a 10% year-over-year growth among adults 18-49 in November 2011 (599,000 vs. 546,000) while Univision declined -16% (582,000 vs. 694,000) during that time period.

Locally for the week of November 28, “Caso Cerrado” was #1 across all stations in New York, regardless of language, among adults 18-49. It was #1 across all Spanish-language stations among total viewers (persons 2+) in New York, Miami, Chicago and San Francisco for the week. It was also #1 across all Spanish-language stations among adults 18-49 in Miami and Chicago.
