Hubbard Broadcasting’s 106.5 The Arch (WARH-FM) St. Louis wants to give local a little love this February. In cooperation with grocer Shop ‘n Save and GCS Federal Credit Union, they’re joining forces to help feed St. Louis families in the Metro East area with their 2012 “Love Handles” Campaign.
The effort, which began 2/1 and runs until 3/3 – encourages St. Louis listeners to visit one of the 38 Missouri and Illinois Metro area Shop ‘n Save locations, and purchase special pre-packaged “Love Handles” grocery bags filled with Shop ‘n Save branded items for just $5 plus tax. Each grocery bag contains a 17oz. box of SNS Frosted Flakes, a 4 pack of pudding, a 5.6oz. box of SNS Beef Pasta Dinner and two 5oz. cans of SNS Chunk Light Tuna in Water.
Shoppers simply need to visit the “Love Handles” display and add a bag to their cart prior to checkout. All donations stay in the St. Louis region, to benefit the food shelter in the community each Shop ‘n Save location serves. The collection goal for 2012 is 10,000 bags.
