'The Biggest Loser' in fourth-place for NBC

From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 12” (2.4/6 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers) weighed in with season highs in adults 18-49 and total viewers. 


It’s the third week in a row “Biggest Loser” has generated week-to-week gains in both 18-49 and total viewers. 

Versus the same night last year, “Biggest Loser” is flat in 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. 2.4) and up 1 percent in total viewers (6.808 million vs. 6.750 million), despite time-period competition last night that included CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles,” ABC’s “Last Man Standing,” “Man Up” and “Dancing With the Stars” and Fox’s “Glee,” “New Girl” and “Raising Hope.” 
 
“Biggest Loser” is up 4 percent week to week in 18-49 (with a 2.4 rating vs. a 2.3), up 20 percent versus two weeks ago (2.4 vs. 2.0)  and up 26 percent versus three weeks ago (2.4 vs. 1.9).

At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” (2.0/6 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) finished within 1 share of #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34. 

Versus last year’s November averages, “Parenthood” is up 5 percent in 18-49 rating (2.0 vs. 1.9) and up 10 percent in total viewers (5.236 million vs. 4.757 million).

Note that “Parenthood” has been adding 41 percent to these next-day “live plus same day” ratings when Nielsen issues “live plus seven day” results so far this season.
