Country music lovers are in for a special surprise with iHeartMedia San Antonio’s newest addition.
On Aug. 23, KJ97 announced the debut of The Bobby Bones Show.
“This is an exciting time for San Antonio and for our KJ97 team,” said Matt Martin, president of iHeartMedia San Antonio/ Austin.
The Bobby Bones Show is an award-winning country radio show with millions of listeners each week. Bones leads the show along with co-hosts Amy, Lunchbox and Eddie.
The show consists of Bones and his co-hosts bringing country music performers on to speak with, sharing pop-culture news and other information, and having delightful conversations amongst each other that is sure to entertain the early morning listeners.
“KJ97 and iHeartCountry continue to deliver top-tier experiences and entertainment to our country fans in San Antonio,” said Kyle Due, program director of KJ97 in a news release. “Being able to have The Bobby Bones Show start off the day, followed by the Randy, Jamie, and JoJo Show, is a listening experience no one else can deliver in town.”
The show will begin on Aug. 28 and will be broadcast on the station on weekdays from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
