Envision Radio Networks’ The Chop Shop Guitar Show is bringing back one of radio’s favorite holiday traditions: The Trans-Siberian Orchestra Holiday Special. TSO will be hitting the road with a staggering 105 shows in just seven weeks, and this free two-hour special is aimed to coincide with upcoming tour stops in your area.
Host Steve Black interviews the band’s four guitarists including Al Pitrelli, Chris Caffery, Angus Clark and Joel Hoekstra, as well as Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s creator Paul O’Neill. The band will discuss their new five song release and this year’s brand new tour, which is the first full presentation of “The Lost Christmas Eve.”
The 9th Annual Trans-Siberian Orchestra Holiday Special is available for broadcast beginning 11/21 through the end of the year.
The Chop Shop and The Chop Shop Classic feature weekly updates on bands and tours, web exclusive content, and special guests all while playing 10 songs an hour. Both versions are two hours in length and feature weekly interviews as well as the exclusive Chop Shop Hall of Fame feature, where such guests as Ted Nugent, Brian May, Leslie West, and hundreds of others pay tribute to guitar legends Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young, Slash and more.
