The global headphones market celebrated a good year in 2020, growing in both volumes and retail value.
According to Futuresource Consulting, the headphones market grew to 480 million units and generated $44 billion in revenue last year.
“As consumers have spent more time at home throughout the pandemic, headphones really have become an integral device in our daily lives,” the U.K.-based research house finds. “Households have spent more time multitasking.”
