Spring Cleaning? Home remodeling? It’s that time of year for many to begin construction projects, and the nation’s two big home improvement retailers are using spot radio to reach consumers.
According to the latest Media Monitors Spot 10 report, The Home Depot is the top advertiser using spot radio.
And … look at how dominant it is. Some 92,485 spots were detected for the first week of April by Media Monitors.
While Lowe’s saw a big jump into the Spot Ten, it’s 36,573 spot plays pale in comparison.
The Home Depot’s efforts are also much greater than one of the candidates for advertiser of the year — GEICO.
Meanwhile, familiar brands such as Discover and Progressive are back, while footwear and leisure clothing brand SKECHERS is in with a new effort.
