The Connected Car and radio’s place on the dashboard of vehicles today and tomorrow has turned out to be a hot topic at the 2022 NAB Show.
Before RBR+TVBR Editor-in-Chief Adam R Jacobson even got to the Las Vegas Convention Center to cover the show over four days, Radio was front and center — not from any out-of-home advertising, but rather from the in-dash radio in the blue Toyota Corolla driven by “Joseph” for Lyft and Uber.
Adam chatted with Joseph about his radio consumption on the 8-minute drive to the convention center, and we’ve shared it with to demonstrate, once again, that Radio has a unique connection to the consumer. In this case, Joseph likes the “randomness” of local FM radio.
