Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc.Beasley Broadcast’s Sports Radio WQAM-AM Miami has moved to middays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and Alex Donno, host of the station’s Miami Hurricanes in-studio game coverage, joins Renshaw in the studios as his on-air sidekick.

Renshaw started with Sports Radio 560 in August 2012 as a weekend host. With this change to a Monday to Friday schedule, Miami sports enthusiasts now have a second chance to hear the 20-year sports talk broadcasting vet during their work week; in 2000 Renshaw was afternoon host on the now-defunct 1700 WAFN-AM The Fan.

Also, this move reunites him with Jorge Sedano, WQAM PD and afternoon drive personality, who previously was Renshaw’s lead-in at The Fan.

John Renshaw has enjoyed on-air homes in Los Angeles, Chicago, Louisville, Kansas City and Tallahassee, Florida.  In addition to live and local radio, he has also been nationally syndicated with Fox Sports Network and One on One Sports (now Yahoo! Sports Radio).

With The John Renshaw Show in place, WQAM’s on-air line-up now includes The Joe Rose Show weekday mornings from 6:00 – 10:00 a.m.; Kup & Crowder from 1:00 to 3:00 pm; and Jorge Sedano afternoon drive from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.  Sports Radio 560 is also the flagship for Miami Hurricanes Sports and Florida Panthers Hockey.
