'The Late Show' ties 'The Tonight Show' and the battle continues

“Late Show” Matches “Tonight” in Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54. “The Late Late Show” Tops “Late Night” in Viewers.


CBS’s LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN tied “The Tonight Show” in adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week and also matched it in adults 18-34 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 15.

LATE SHOW posted a 2.4/06 in households with an average of 3.39m viewers, 0.9/04 in adults 18-49, 0.6/02 in adults 18-34 and 1.2/05 in adults 25-54. 

LATE SHOW tied “The Tonight Show” in adults 25-54 (1.2/05, each), adults 18-49 (0.9/04, each) and adults 18-34 (0.6/02 vs. 0.6/03). 

THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON delivered a 1.3/05 in households with 1.75m viewers,  0.5/03 in adults 18-49 and 0.7/04 in adults 25-54.

LATE LATE SHOW beat “Late Night” in viewers (1.75m vs. 1.64m) and tied in adults 25-54 (0.7/04, each).
