The movement of stations from own owner to another continues to meander along at a snail’s pace. During the week of April 13-17, Saga Communications accounted for the lion’s share of value among deals accepted by the FCC for filing.
Saga’s acquisition of an intact five-station cluster from the Verstandig group accounted for more than three quarters of total value for the week – 78%, in fact. It was the only one worth more than $1,000,000.
