‘The Voice’ Relaunches A Classic Delmarva Brand

Longtime listeners to FM radio on the Delmarva Peninsula will likely recall “100 KHI,” a Top 40 radio station throughout the 1980s that in 1993 changed to Country as WWFG.

In homage to the former radio brand, the WKHI call letters were brought back on Jan. 30, 2019, at a Class A facility at 94.9 MHz. Branding that matched the old WKHI was used, along with a Classic Hits format.

It didn’t work for the licensee. As such, the new WKHI is about to get a new owner — one with a Voice across the Salisbury-Ocean City, Md., region.
